Fuji. Film.

Do you shoot film? Then why didn’t you tell me this would be so addictive!!!?!?!?

Right now I’m trying to run a different roll through the M3 each time as I get a feel for the camera. These are scans from a roll of Fuji 160s. So far I think I’m liking Tri-X the most for shooting with the M3, but this color negative film is pretty nice stuff:

  1. what is that walkway that looks onto the bridge that is so cool! Great photos love the book reading photo and the haircut is fab! I also like the shadow shot! And of course Suki never has a bad photo day !

  2. I still have my old canon slr and shoot around sometimes. The fun part is the dark room. You develop your own film?

  3. Jon, you have known me online for years. I LOVE shooting film! Im currently shooting an F4, N90s, Minolta Maxxum 5 and 70, Diana F+, Olympus XA and XA2. Shooting film lets you shoot such a variety of shooting styles with different cameras That really does it for me. Not to mention less time in front of the computer. I have really learned to

    1. (pressed submit too fast) adapt to various styles of camera operation that I feel changes the look and type of pictures Im going for as much as I see when I try a new lens.

  4. I originally saw this post on my iPhone and I really liked the series. However, looking at it on a large computer screen impressed me even more. I love the quality of this film. The colors don’t “pop” as much as your other roll of Portra, but I still love the dreamy and tranquil look that the film gives the images. It seems as though you chose your shots based on the film that you loaded. Good work!

  5. Awesome film work here my friend. Looks like a lot of fun to play around with a range finder 🙂 I had some trouble when I was using my friend’s M9 too.
