Do you shoot film? Then why didn’t you tell me this would be so addictive!!!?!?!?
Right now I’m trying to run a different roll through the M3 each time as I get a feel for the camera. These are scans from a roll of Fuji 160s. So far I think I’m liking Tri-X the most for shooting with the M3, but this color negative film is pretty nice stuff:
Leica M3 + 50mm f/1.4 Summilux | Leicameter MC | Fuji 160S
See? Film rocks;))
what is that walkway that looks onto the bridge that is so cool! Great photos love the book reading photo and the haircut is fab! I also like the shadow shot! And of course Suki never has a bad photo day !
Really nice work. Love the film – somehow it adds importance to the image.
Thanks for sharing.
lovely shots an colours of this Fuji 160. Nice film!
really nice looking and I’ve a fav the first photo on this post:) respect for your shoot by films!!
i love the 160s. sad its been discontinued. don’t know what it is about 160s, the kodak too, seem to work magic.
I still have my old canon slr and shoot around sometimes. The fun part is the dark room. You develop your own film?
Hehe, no, I get all my film developed and scanned at my local lab 😉
Jon, you have known me online for years. I LOVE shooting film! Im currently shooting an F4, N90s, Minolta Maxxum 5 and 70, Diana F+, Olympus XA and XA2. Shooting film lets you shoot such a variety of shooting styles with different cameras That really does it for me. Not to mention less time in front of the computer. I have really learned to
(pressed submit too fast) adapt to various styles of camera operation that I feel changes the look and type of pictures Im going for as much as I see when I try a new lens.
great shots!
and you’re so right about shooting film, it is really addictive!
🙂
I originally saw this post on my iPhone and I really liked the series. However, looking at it on a large computer screen impressed me even more. I love the quality of this film. The colors don’t “pop” as much as your other roll of Portra, but I still love the dreamy and tranquil look that the film gives the images. It seems as though you chose your shots based on the film that you loaded. Good work!
Awesome film work here my friend. Looks like a lot of fun to play around with a range finder 🙂 I had some trouble when I was using my friend’s M9 too.
I love the bridge photos.
I love love love that photo of Bridge!! I’m addicted to film too, if only it isn’t so expensive…
